MadCool Project
A semester long project which consisted of choosing a Madrid based problem
or recent conflict and then its recreation/illustration using a 3D modelling
application “Rhino” (project was done in pairs). The chosen topic
appeared to be the “Mad Cool” festival of 2018, as it was considered to
be a disaster due to problems with accessing the festival, long lines, and
un-effective entrance.
Duration
3.5 months
Year
2019
After the problem was illustrated, the project requirements were to research alternative events and to emphasise, in our case, the general importance of entrances throughout history and a representation of all relevant cases.
After the analysis a solution had to be implement, with an accent on the fact that “entrance to the event is the party itself”. The solution wasn't suppose to have any architectural boundaries and could be as crazy as desired, as long as it showcased the point of entrance being the party, so we design a new type of entrance.
